Assalaamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh...

InsyaAllah, in Allah's permission, next Wednesday we'll have a very last weekly event for this year InsyaAllah. It'll be more light as compared to before, but requires more effort from everyone ;)

Date: 10th November 2010
Time: 2pm-5pm
Venue: Dewan Muzakarah Perempuan, Masjid UBD (just a few meters away from the female entrance to the Mesjid).

The activity is photo-taking! InsyaAllah, we'll reveal how to 'play this game' that day. Please bring your cameras! Or probably just your phone with camera on 'em.

Oh! And everyone is very very very much welcomed to bring in food, or a packet of sweets, or samboi, or a carton of milk. Whatever. Bring them in, insyaAllah let's cherish this one and insyaAllah by His pleasure, we close this semester with a heartwarming moment with the ones who love you i.e. every other members in this club :)

FIRST meet up (Aug/Dec '10 session)

Assalaamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh...

Alhamdulillah the Induction Day was a success I could say, though we regret that some of the interested ones couldn't make it because they have class that afternoon. We had to hold the day on a Monday because we fear that 1st Ramadhan might fall on Wednesday, so yeah ^^,

Nevertheless its still not too late to register to our club! Spread the word! InsyaAllah, we'll be having our first MYC meet this coming Thursday, 19th August 2010. At 2pm, same venue as usual, the Dewan Muzakarah Perempuan at the UBD Masjid. I'm sorry for any confusion regarding the club, it is open for BOTH male and female UBD students, even tho' we're holding it at the Dewan Muzakarah 'Perempuan' :)

InsyaAllah, here I am listing out the highlights of our activities throughout the whole semester (Aug-Dec '10), giving distinction to those who couldn't make it to our 'MYC Induction Day'. InsyaAllah in God's will, we will:

• Ramadhan: 'Ziarah Kubur' near Masjid Jame Asr' (for male MYCians) and sungkai (iftar) together with the people at the Masjid.
• For the female MYCians, we'll visit the RIPAS hospital and help the patients who have trouble with solat and taking the ablution. Ustazah also promised to give us a pre-workshop on this one :D
• Last 10 days of Ramadhan: In conjuction to this, we're planning the annual UBD Qiamullail Programme
• Syawal: Ziarah to MYC AJK and members' houses by bus. SIUK NI!
• Another Syawal celebration in UBD.
• Involved in the Bulan Keugamaan UBD (Sept-Oct) under EKK. Certs will be given. We'll also set up our booth and other stuff there :)
• October: Visit to Taman NurHidayah (female MYCians) and to Pusat Al-Islah (male MYCians)
• Sports Day
• November: Phototaking activity at BSB!
• A talk by one of PDI's officers.

There you go! So don't miss your chance to join us for this exciting semester ahead of us :D InsyaAllah we'll have a motivational camp in December but that's to be confirmed. Doakan kelab kami untuk menjadi yang terbaik :)

On our AGM insyaAllah, we will be discussing our future plans and we are opening up positions for some AJK positions. Aaaaand also, insyaAllah we'll celebrate MYC's first birthday :D Well, not exactly one whole year already but yeah, we just wanna celebrate this baby year, cos it has been guhreattt. Alhamdulillah :)

InsyaAllah there will be food ;)

Pink Hijab Day

Assalaamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh...

This Wednesday, 28th October is the Global Pink Hijab Day. We encourage people to wear Pink scarfs (Tudung) today in supporting the global Breast Cancer Awareness month. So ladies... put on your pink tudungs /hijab / niqab etc. Pink is one of Rasulullah S.A.W.'s favourite colours!

Pink Hijab Day is intended to shatter stereotypes of Muslim women, as well as raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. All over the world, Muslims participated by wearing pink hijabs, pink ribbons, and donating to breast cancer foundations
