The New Beginning : Part 2

Assalaamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh...

Alhamdulillah thumma Alhamdulillah. All praises are only to Allah, Creator of you and me, Creator of heaven and hell, Creator of pain and  happiness, Creator of love and affection.

Reminiscing back to the MYC Ice Breaking Day held last Friday reminded me to the words of Allah:

“Orang-orang beriman (mukmin) itu sesungguhnya bersaudara. Sebab itu damaikanlah (perbaikilah hubungan) antara kedua saudaramu itu dan takutlah terhadap Allah, supaya kamu mendapat rahmat.” (QS. Al-Hujurat 49 : 10)

Brotherhood

 It was a day full of brother and sister -hood! Subhanallah! The event started with 'Brain Gym' (come for MYC to know what Brain Gym is all about!) lead by the Vice Ameer and followed by brief introduction of MYC and getting to know the AJKs of MYC this semester. Alhamdulillah!

After a short breakfast-break, the event took place at different places for games instructed by Vice Ameer and Ameerah of MYC.

'Mirror Game' - Act like a mirror to whatever your friend is doing. At the end of the game you'll reflect on acts your friend were doing. Whether you follow the good or the bad examples. It's your choice!

“Perumpamaan orang-orang yang beriman (mukmin) dalah hal kasih sayang dan rahmat bagi mereka bagaikan satu badan, apabila satu anggota menderita maka menjalarlah penderitaan itu keseluruh badan hingga dak bisa tidur (gelisah) dan panas” (HR. Ahmad Muslim)

Subhanallah! Alhamdulillah! Allahu Akbar!

Jazakumullahu khayran katheera for those who came and dropped by to our Ice Breaking Day held last Friday at DAP, UBD.

May the bond Allah blessed that day be forever held until we see each other in Jannah, insha Allah!

The Messenger's Wave : Menggegarkan Seluruh Alam!

Who is The Messenger? What wave did he own?

It will definitely shock you! So do not forget to come this Wednesday at DMP Masjid UBD, 1.45-2.15 pm is the time of arrival.

So who is he?

Hint! : He never failed to miss and love us. Although he had not seen us but he always said that he loves and miss us so much! And to add more to that, he said that in front of his best friends.

The New Beginning

Assalaamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh...

It has been a hectic week for us but it has been a week full of new faces, new friends, new environment, and so many new things for MYC.

Jazakumullahu Khayran Katheera to all of you who came for the MYC Induction Day held last wednesday, 16th January 2013 at the Inspiring Hall, Student Centre UBD.

Alhamdulillah thumma Alhamdulillah, the Induction Day was somehow, a new beginning for the members as well as the working committee. We did something different this time. Did you realise it?

Yes! It was themed : Garden, English and Vintage!

Ahlan Wasahlan!

Few booths were set up as well.

The MYC Library Booth will commence its operation starting next week Insha Allah 

The MYC Library Booth is only specific to Motivational and Islamic books. These are infaq books by the members of MYC (cool isn't it? =D)

Highlights

The event was initiated by the recitation of Al-Fatihah and proceeded to speech of the Ameer (ketua) for MYC. In the middle of the speech, few dollars was shown to the audience, and he asked, "Siapa mau hadiah (referring to the dollars?)" Everyone said "Mauu!"

He continued, "Siapa mau, ambil!"

But ironically, no one came up to the front.  Everyone shouted 'I want!' earlier, but the legs were not willing to move.

So what is wrong with us actually? Not confident? Shy? Err.. Lazy? Not brave enough?

Dan Kami kuatkan hati anak-anak muda itu (dengan kesabaran dan keberanian), semasa mereka BANGKIT BERDIRI (menegaskan tauhid) lalu berkata: “Tuhan kami ialah Tuhan yang mencipta dan mentadbirkan langit dan bumi; kami tidak sekali-kali akan menyembah Tuhan yang lain dari padanya; jika kami menyembah yang lainnya bermakna kami memperkatakan dan mengakui sesuatu yang jauh dari kebenaran.” [Al-Kahf 18: 14]

Allah has done His part, where He strengthen our hearts to stand strong for something that is worth standing for. It is us who still have not done our part, which is to let the strength Allah has lent us to the correct path of life.
