It’s time to get those dust-covered pair of sneakers off the shelf; treat your crusty bones to the breath-taking lush greeneries, and it’s time to groove yourself into the wild – the Halal way. The “Explore Race” aims to build up, not just your physical health – but also your mental and spiritual health too, insyaAllah.

Alhamdulillah…we are heading towards the FINAL WEEK!

InsyaAllah, we will commence our FINAL activity on:

Day/date: Wednesday 12 Zulhijjah 1432H / 9 November 2011M

Time: 2.00pm onwards

Venue: Dewan Muzakharah Perempuan, Masjid UBD (both Muslimin & Muslimah are invited!)

“The one piece of wealth that Allah gives to every human being is TIME.” (Nouman Ali Khan)

As a famous Muslim scholar once said, “Loosing Time is harder than death; as loosing Time keeps you away from Allah and the Hereafter, while Death keeps you away from the Worldly life and your people.” (Ibn Al-Qayyim).

Ask ourselves: have we done what we should have done with our time? Did we use our time wisely like what Allah has commanded us in His Book?

Come to this Final meeting; and bring everyone you care or just anyone you knew to share this knowledge and to remind each other upon the preciousness of Time.

Time is running out – and the Exam is looming over our shoulder. Just as the Semester is coming towards its end, likewise the MYC meeting will come to an end for this Semester. It seems only yesterday we sat together for the first time, sharing knowledge and fumbling to remember everyone’s name. The past 13 weeks just seem to fly by. However, for every meeting, there must be goodbye – but every goodbye does not mean an end to everything. InsyaAllah, the moments without MYC seating are the moments for us to rebuild our relationship with the rest of the Ummah.

Allah knows when we will meet again – and until then, please take care of your Deen and your Imaan with this one piece of wealth Allah has bestowed upon us: Time, use it wisely beloved MYCians.

Venue: The Inspiring Hall, Student Centre (the new Cake-ish building next to the Café, in case you’re lost)

It will be a forum held in lieu with PMUBD where our beloved MYCians are the invited speakers, together with the other spiritual officers of all faculty student councils. (This is gonna be awessome!). Show your love and support by attending this meet! Attendance is recorded, and you shall receive a certificate for coming… but do come for the talk, and not the cert! InsyaAllah, only Allah knows how to reward everyone for coming.

The semester is coming to an end! The sitting shall be missed; the mini workshop shall be missed…Everyone shall be missed! Hope to see the familiar faces (and more new faces, insyaAllah!) in the next semester!

*2nd Special News* Community Outreach Programme @Temburong!

Assalaamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh...

Alhamdulillah, a hectic, yet another SUCCESSFUL COP (Community Outreach Programme) in Temburong, that was held on Saturday 24 Zulkaedah 1432H/22 October 2011M...alhamdulillah thumma alhamduillah!

A huge Jazakumullahu khairan khateer to Temburong-nians for their utmost warm & welcoming, love and support!

Though our time was limited, the MYC-ian families sure had a lot of fun, (and a bit of KTK –‘Kenali Temburong Kitani’) there;) We will definitely remember the awesome Boat-rides, the lush greenaries, the calm and peaceful ambiance that took our breath away..and of course, the sporting&friendlyTemburongnians, MasyaAllah!

*Special News*: Community Outreach Programme @Tutong!

Assalaamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh...

Alhamdulillah, alhamdulillah wa syukrulillah! Allah had given MYC the chance to ‘stand up & speak out’ in a recent ‘Community Outreach Programme’ that was held last Friday 11 Zulkaedah 1432H / 9 October 2011M@Tutong Central Mall!

It was sure tiring – but it was definitely a whole new fun & enjoyable experience! With the vibrant atmosphere, and the warm welcome by the friendly Tutong-nians, the MYC’s family felt instantly at ease, and felt the sudden surge of Imaan-booster. MashaAllah!

…Alhamdulillah, we’re BACK for the second half of the Semester! How was the holiday? InsyaAllah, may Allah reward everyone with the best of health, the best of Imaan, and the best of spirit – all rejuvenated, and powered-up to go through the rest of the semester, (and attend more MYC’s activities!), ameen!

Still remember what month (according to the Hijrah calender) are we in right now?

Over the past few weeks, we had been actively greeting people "Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir & Batin", but do we really meant what we've said? Or was it just another greeting that comes out of a habit? Come and join in next week's activity , when we are going to sit together and reflect upon the subject of "forgiveness" - its meaning, and its significance.

Did everybody enjoy the MYC's Open House? :) InsyaAllah, with Allah's Great Mercy and Will, may the activity fuels up everyone's Imaan-tank for the whole next week, because... There will be NO ACTIVITY during the Semester Break, i.e. Wednesday 23 Syawal 1432 / 21 September 2011.

InsyaAllah, let this short holiday be a break time for your body to rest - but NOT your soul to slack off from seeking Allah's pleasure.

Alhamdulillah wa syukrulillah, MYC is up and back for another one of its enthralling activity!

This week Wednesday 16 Ramadhan 1432 / 17 August 2011, our activity will be in a form of a 2-in-1 special for everyone: Iftar (Sungkai) together i.e. Iftar Jama'iy...and a chance to ta'aruf with everyone!

6.34pm - Iftar Jama'iy

Hijrah Camp 1432: Aku Muslim Super!

How's everyone? It has been a while since we last updated this blog. I hope all of you are in the best state of iman and health, InsyaAllah:)

Today, it's already 7 Rejab 1432H, which means Ramadhan is just around the corner. Yes, it's coming real soon! MYC Last Weekly Meet

Assalamualaikum Warahmatulah Wabarakatuh,

Still got the vibe of spark of fire? Still fired up from the last meeting? InsyaAllah, be sure to keep it UP & COME to our NEXT MEET

InsyaAllah, in Allah's permission, next tuesday we'll have our last weekly event for this semester InsyaAllah. It'll be lighter as compared to before. Because there will be a motivational talk by our invited speaker Cg. Ali Yusri. This is going to be interesting, so dont miss it! try to listen and be involved in this coming session, InsyaAllah.

Hopefully it will inspired us and make us strive even more for redha Allah.

All the best in your revision for exams, don't forget about your examination during Akhirah as well. Pray, Solat Hajat, as well as solat Taubat. Remember, you ask from Him what you want (by solat Hajat). But you have sinned, yet you do not regret. Perform solat Taubat, insyaAllah will there be no sins to cover your heart from ilm.

We close this semester with a heartwarming moment with the ones who love you i.e. every other members in this club :)
